Linker View

Linker is OwnLinker's social universe — your network of people you follow, shown as an interactive circle. Open it from the bottom drawer tab bar or from notifications that mention Linker activity.

Profile requirement

Before Linker opens, you need a minimal public identity so others recognize you:

  • Username — your @handle
  • Display name — how you appear in the circle and DMs
  • Profile photo — avatar on your node

Bio and external links are optional. If anything is missing, a gate prompts you to Edit profile (same modal as your avatar menu). After saving, Linker opens automatically.

How to open Linker

On any page, pull up the bottom drawer and tap Linker. You can also use the Linker planet on the home orbital hub, or open it from certain notifications.

Linker list & pins

Tap Linkers in the Linker header to expand your full contact list — everyone you follow. Use the star on a row to pin that person to your circle (up to 12 pins). Only pinned contacts appear as nodes in the graph; the list stays available for everyone else.

Circle actions

Pan and pinch-zoom to move around the circle. Tap another user's avatar to open quick actions:

  • Direct message — chat inside Linker
  • Tip — send support to a creator
  • Profile — visit their public page

Your own avatar opens your public profile. Unread DMs show a badge on the node.

First-visit tour

The first time you open Linker with a complete profile, a short guided tour highlights the list toggle, pin button, and circle. You can skip it anytime; it won't show again after you finish or skip.
